| Meet The Pastor | ![]() |

Larry Rocquin, a native of Metairie, Pastors St. James Community Church in Grand Point, a small Mississippi River town situated about midway between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Larry was in business for himself when he met and married Rinalda Jones, who was teaching at Southeastern University in Hammond. Together they answered the call on their lives and attended Ministers Training Institute (MTI) in Baker, Louisiana, followed by eight years of ministry on the mission field in Russia. During that time, he started three churches and gave oversight to nine others. In response to the needs of the Russian people, he opened two feeding centers and offered marriage seminars, which eventually took him all over Russian Mongolia and Africa.
Today Pastor Larry and Rinalda live in Gramercy. They brought back with them two precious little girls, now ages 11 and 12, that the Lord gave them while on the mission field. The Rocquins have recently celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary and praise God for all of the provisions in their lives.
